Swedish - Swedish Massage
is also known as the European style of Massage. This most-popular
type of massage is a proven medical system of manipulations
on the muscles and connective tissues of the body for the
purpose of relaxation and health maintenance. It
combines long strokes, gliding, kneading, and friction
techniques on muscles. Swedish Massage also increases circulation
of the blood, lymph system, relaxes your muscles, and calms
your nerves many people report a great nights sleep after
Deep Tissue - Deep Tissue Massage focuses on the deeper
muscles and connective tissues of the body. It releases unhealthy
and deeply set patterns of tension in the body through
specific strokes and deep point pressure on areas where
Sports - Sports Massage
is the use of massage techniques to improve athletic performance
and to help you train and perform free of pain and injuries.
As your Sports Massage Therapist, I blend classic Swedish
massage strokes with such methods as, pressure-point therapy,
cross-fiber friction, compression, joint range of motion,
and ice massage to meet your special needs. Sports Massage
can reduce the risk of injury for any competitive athlete
(or week-end warrior) as well as accelerate the body's
natural restorative processes by removing lactic acid,
and increasing circulation should injury occur.
Detailed work that treats shoulder tendonitis, rotator
cuff pain, tight diaphragm, kyphosis, golfer- and tennis
elbow, sciatica, lower back pain, tight iliotibial
band, knee and ankle injury, sprains, strains and many
other soft-tissue injuries. With your permission I will
confer with the your doctor on your behalf before treatment.
Age robs us of our flexibility, and our muscles become
tight and shortened over time. That can lead to pain. A
Flexibility Session gently increases your muscle's length.
The benefits you may experience include: reduced muscle
easier movements, increases range of motion, and preparation
for your body's more challenging activities.
On-site Seated Massage is a great way to manage stress.
Clients sit on a specially-designed Massage Chair and relax
with a head, neck, shoulder, back and arm Massage. After
just a short while, you'll feel wonderful! Show your
employees your commitment to their health and well-being.
They will be relaxed, alert and revitalized. This Massage
is done fully-clothed, without oil.
Andy Haas is available to give lectures and demonstrations
on a wide range of topics related to the benefits of Massage
Therapy and Exercise.
